Reduce Pastry Hassle With Wedding Cupcakes

By Larry Jones

A wedding is a special day for the couple and their close friends and family. It is a day filled with joy and laughter. However, there is a lot of work and money that goes into making that day oh so glorious. The pastry is one of the most expensive parts. It is also the centerpiece and as such must be simply breathtaking. Wedding cupcakes are now on the rave. They are a fresh take on wedding pastry.

This option allows room for a little more wiggling. How many guests are there? How many cakes will each guest be allowed? Which size does one prefer? Alternatively, maybe, the sizes could be varied. You know, to accommodate both sweet tooth guests and those who only rarely indulge.

Wastage has been curbed. These pastries cost less. Some bakers go a little crazy on the decorating that they end up costing as much as the traditional option. It may prove cheaper. This is however not a testament to the extent of elegance. A lot can be done to enhance this aspect.

Sourcing these pastries is easy enough. They are easy to make. One can bake and decorate them at home. Thos is best when the guest list is not too long. One should not take on this task at the expense of other wedding duties. One can also buy prebaked cakes. The decoration is then done in line with the theme and color scheme of the ceremony. You could also leave all the work to a baker. Everything from baking to decoration and transportation. All the baker will need is decoration guidelines and flavor choices.

The market is flooded with pastry flavors. Any taste people think about is probably a flavor with a beautiful name. It might prove difficult to choose between tantalizing blueberry and feisty mocha. Choosing to have these pastries allows one the luxury of having a range of flavors. There could be little signs indicating which flavor is which or one could let the guests savor the mystery.

Inexpensive does not amount to inelegant. The display can be used to add the desired pizzazz. One can hire a stand or tiers. It is also possible for one to design their own stand if the market does not provide their envisioned display. There are electrical stands that add a lighting feature to the display. A cake tree is also a viable idea. It is a stand has individual holders for each pastry. The result resembles a tree. This is the most preferred option.

These are easy and quick to serve. The risk of a piece crumbling to the ground is not something to worry about. Less cake goes to waste because the variety accommodates everyone and there are no left-over dried up slices.

Some couples like to maintain a little bit of tradition on their special day. Pastry cutting has been long-standing. The couple can have a small pastry to cut and smear frosting all over each other.
