As one prepares the dish, the oven ought to be preheated to temperatures of 230 degrees Celsius. A parchment paper is used to line the dish. The potatoes need to be chopped into wedges and then mixed with salt, baking sheet, olive oil, garlic powder and paprika in a bowl. The mixture should be stirred continuously till the fries have been coated with the mixture.

The fries should then be placed on the baking sheet and allowed to bake for between 30 and 35 minutes. Alternatively, one can continue baking until the chips become crispy or change color to golden brown. In a separate bowl, one should mix oregano, orange juice, garlic, cilantro, chili powder, salt, lime juice, and salt. Flank steak should be added to the mixture and marinated for twenty minutes.

The steak should then be cooked over a cast-iron skillet to meadium-cooked and then left to rest for 10 minutes. The steak should then be diced after the ten minutes. The baked French fries should then be placed in an ovenproof skillet together with diced carne asada and pepper jack cheese and broiled until the cheese melts. The dish should be topped with grated cotija cheese, diced tomatoes, cilantro, sour cream, and guacamole before serving
