In the current world people serve this type of cuisine in weddings and special occasions. It is viewed as the most exotic type of cuisine. An everyday menu usually includes the first and second course then a side dish and coffee. The first course is normally a more satisfying dish like pasta.

In the northern part of Italy a blend of coffee beans roasted medium to medium dark is used in making their style of coffee. However, people in the south prefer their coffee made with deep roasted blend of coffee beans. In these restaurants the wine consumed there is produced from Italy. As it happens, Italy is largest worldwide exporter and producer of wine. Incidentally, this country is also a big consumer of wine.
