Treats and snacks are the top favorites and mostly admired by adults and children alike. Apart from their aroma and taste, most of them come in distinguishable types and flavors too. Sandwiches in particular, are considered both for its eye appealing presentation and remarkable taste.

Little that we know that there are different types of sandwiches each has its preparation tips and guides. One less familiar yet highly nutritious and delicious type is a cold po boy Louisiana. This is a traditional type of sandwich, mostly consists of meat or seafood depending on what a person prefers. Preparing this dish is, however, partly challenging. But with some ideas and advice, chances of getting good results would be ultimately be high. Here are some guidelines.

First, prepare the bread. Bread makes the sandwich and this dish is never been an exemption. Search for a bakery that provides the right bread or look for good alternatives perhaps. French loafs are the perfect replacement apparently. Avoid using baguette because the food require an airy, soft and slight crisp rust and such bread is quite rough especially on its outside structure.

Fill the food with a generous serving of either seafood or meat. Either way, the amount should at least be more than enough, not too less, to have a taste of all the rich and excellent flavor. Evenly distribute the serving to the loaves with the use of spreaders. As much as possible, have a sample taste with the food to see if it perfectly matches with the bread.

Season is the king. While breads and fillings are important ingredients, might as well spare equal attention on the season too. You can integrate a pinch of salt, pepper and spice to the mixture but at least have the initiative to find out the nearly accurate measurement to avoid ruining the snack. Make use of your measuring device to prevent mistakes and repetition.

Prepare the dressing. When it concerns dressing, people always see shredded lettuce and tomato top with ketchup and mayo. That aside, professionals agree that people should focus more on the freshness and crispiness of ingredients. Use ingredients that are chemically free, fresh and cold to keep it crispy and healthy while they digest inside your stomachs.

Good sauce makes the food highly compelling. For spicy lovers, one could simply add Tabasco sauce or perhaps a pepper to bring spicy texture and feeling. Sauce could maximize flavor but your options are not endless so feel free to choose whatever sauce you prefer most. Place sufficient amount to prevent spilling some portions and create a mess on your floor and kitchen table too.

Do not forget to place your dish to the fridge to retain its crispness and maximize its longevity. You can always heat in your oven anytime you want. Just remember to put it a cool storage every time you are unable to consume the whole serving to have something to eat later.

Aside from being proud, make sure to enjoy your created dish. Eat it while using your hands or fork. Whatever you prefer, the only important thing is to savor it inside your mouth. Might as well share it with some of your hungry friends and families too.
